Our Club

Our club is composed of 85+ moms living within the West Chester Area School District. We host monthly play dates, music classes, story times, moms' night outs, seasonal events, and more! MOMS Club is a great way to get to know other moms and kids in the area, and be a part of a group of moms who strive to give back to their community. 

Most of our activities, playgroups and service projects occur during the day and are close to where we live, although we occasionally offer outings to museums or other kid-friendly places close by.  This provides you & your children with friends close to your home and when your kids begin school, they may already have a few friends in their class!  We are always looking for new activity ideas and volunteers to host activities each month - our Activities Coordinator appreciates the support!

Monthly Newsletter and Activity Calendar

Distributed digitally on a monthly basis, our newsletter is the place to find out the latest club info - who our officers & coordinators are, an updated list of family-friendly events around town that aren't organized by our club, the latest service projects we are working on, announcements of new members and births, and of course, our monthly activity calendar!  Our monthly calendar is packed with all kinds of activities to keep us going including:

  • a monthly MOMS Night Out
  • museum & zoo trips
  • meals at local restaurants
  • activity groups for those with common interests (i.e. books, cooking & exercising)
  • indoor play places
  • new member socials

Monthly meetings

Our club meets once a month to socialize & network with other moms, discuss club business and we often have a speaker join us.  Some of our previous speakers have included a children's librarian, a professional organizer, a sports coach who discussed fitness & sports nutrition, a local certified swim instructor who provided pool & water safety, a representative from the community health department to discuss medicine & poison safety for infants & toddlers, and a Mommy & Me yoga class.  Kids are always welcome at our meetings and during some meetings we provide snacks, fun activities or craft projects for the kids too!

Playgroups

We offer small playgroups (usually between 4-6 moms & their kids) for those interested in helping their children make friends with other kids close in age (and for you too!).  Our Playgroup Coordinator can help you find the right group - most groups meet regularly at each other's homes, local parks or other fun places for kids.

Service Projects

Our club likes to give back to the community through our service projects.  Some of our recent projects have included:
  • Mommy and Me Photography fundraiser with Laurie Carrozzino Photography to support Prepared to Thrive
  • Philadelphia Diaper Bank collection
  • Fundraiser to support Sky's the Limit Playground at Kerr Park in Downingtown
  • Dine and Donate event to benefit Moms of Multiples Club
  • Donation drive for the Philadelphia Regional Council's Humanitarian Aid for the war in Ukraine

Helping Hands

Has there ever been a time in your life when you could have used a delicious, home-cooked meal?  We've all been there - whether it's right after the birth or adoption of a new baby, if there has been an illness or death in your family or any other time a mom could use some help!  Our committee of moms helps by preparing & delivering meals right to your door - all you do is sign up & pick the dates!
